Boundary Bay Birthday Party

We were invited to Boundary Bay's big Celebration!
Daniel was part of our group... see his magic ball behind the pint?
See his upside-down face in the ball?
Here's Wren on stilts... see the tiny girl being amazed by his tallness? Or maybe just his juggling.
We did a lot of passing clubs while people walked through our pattern.
We did our three acts for the show. Our ropin' cowboys act...
And our goofy hat act, along with our juggling act and a Shari Vari. Daniel did two acts as well. It was a good time.

Atreu's Birthday Party

Wren and I were invited to perform for a kids 5-year birthday party. We had a great time, and everyone at the party was delighted with our show and getting to play with our circus props. My favorite thing is seeing Wren surrounded by a bunch of cutie little girls wanting him to teach them how to juggle. So cute!
This awesome guy determined to juggle.
This little champ learning how to hoop the hard way!
A snippet from our hat act.
 Kids watching the show.
Atreu getting set for his birthday circus moment, balancing a spinning plate while we juggle around him!
A sneek peek at our rope act.
 Shots from our juggling act.
Our finale!
It is always rewarding to see the adults watching and enjoying the show as well.
Happy Birthday Atreu! And thanks to the gal who took these photos, yay!

Subdued Stringband Jamboree 2015

Subdued Stringband Jamboree 2015... full of music, circus, and Lucas Hicks.
Oh, and Logger art.
 And yummy food.

And casual lounging.

Some mid-day vogue-ing.
Some "bringin' sexy back".
Can't forget matching hat-tips.
And cute baby Jethro faces!

And Baby Chipps's first concert with his uke, Skuba.
And sweet new costumes, like Wren and me are sporting.
And fun circus acts like this!

And oldie group photo shoots like us here (Jethro, Banjo, Jason, Wren, Me, Chipp, Heidi, Haven).
And Jason Quick juggling sharp thing in front of children.
Daniel and Morgan adorable-ing in the Serenade Tent.
 The Shade structure.
 Dream and Pj at night.
 Strangely crowd-surfing.
The late-night finale with Hot Damn Scandal and anyone who could fit on the stage.
And Lucas Hicks of course, with his friend Eneko, who played amazing accordion music for the circus show.
What a fun Jamboree!

18th Annual Free Coop Community Party

Wren and I were part of the Coop Annual Party this year. We came early to help Jason set up his tent, and helped teach juggling and other circus goodies to anyone interested. Then we paraded and performed, then taught circus some more.
Karl was the mastermind behind it all.
There was a "Cooperative Circus Show" there with Poki, Karla and Carl, Strangely and Faith, Jason Quick, Clay, Aralia of Intuitive Compass, and Wren and me (doing our rope and juggle act). You can see a quick action shot of our juggling in this video here!
Deakin Hicks and Eneko played for part of the afternoon, along with Yogoman.
Wren and I were caught learnin' tricks, so were thrown in the paddy wagon (it was the first time either of us had been in the back of a police car... they're super uncomfortable!).
The whole event made for a long day, but a good one. At the end of this, we drove to Conway to try out for the "Amuse" show... and we got it!

Anacortes Brewery 21st Anniversary

Wren and Chipp and I performed at Anacortes Brewery's the Rockfish Grill's 21st birthday/anniversary party. Wren and I juggled and roped, Chipp MC'd and did his hat act, and I sang my moustache song and chair danced.
After our performance we got to eat ribs. They were delicious.

Anacortes Brewery and Happy Little Farm Show

We had a double-header today! Chipp, Wren, and I performed for the Anacortes Brewery Anniversary Party (it turned 21). I performed the moustache song, the chair dance, and Wren and I did our juggling and rope acts. Chipp MC'd and did his banana song hat act. It all seemed to go over well. We ate some of their roasted pig, and away we went, onto our evening adventure/slew of more performances.

We love the Happy Little Farm Party aka The Giver By The River. We've been part of this quaint event for about 5 years now. Many people were unavailable to be part of the show this year, but we made it happen with a perfectly quaint little cast (minus Chelsea even, who at the last minute had to not perform because she ruptured an ovarie! Rebecca was there and helped assess and Chelsea was better after a couple hours).
We spent the night again this year in Vince, and woke up to vegetarian biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and fresh fruit. A full day of shows ending on a full morning stomach. I feel like a pretty lucky gal.

Polecats Anniversary Party

Wren and I were invited to perform at Polecat's 5 year anniversary show. We had a good time... and only accidentally bonked one kid with a club. Here's me looking like I'm doing a sweet trick (which I am!).
 Us doing our rope act.
Me being ecstatic about juggling.
Wren wowing kids and adults with his solo tricks.
Chippie Kai-yay and Heidi on stilts.
 And the band, Polecat!
It was super fun. At the end of the night, there was a group of us downstairs getting our pictures taken by Thaddeus Hink (a sweet friend and amazing photographer).
