Juggle Club at the Lab

Juggle Club has been so awesome lately. The Cirque Lab is full of jugglers, poi spinners, hula hoopers, contact jugglers, card / rope / hat manipulators, you name it it's being played with.
Here I am attempting to learn self-tomahawks... so hard!
Soon, juggle club will be at Boulevard park where we juggle till the sun sets... that's also nice.

Wren turns into an evil Pi making ferry on Pi day, can't you tell?
He made Pecan and quiche pie! I made the symbol.

Improv class

This year one of my to-do's was to take an improv class. So I signed up at the Upfront theatre and got a Bellingham Circus Guild discount! How sweet of them! I've been enjoying the classes, and believe they are helpful, rewarding, and inspiring for anyone, not just performers. Here are the rules:
1. Say yes... and (listen)
2. Make your partner look good
3. Make mistakes
It is all about supporting your team members, playing, and saying yes, I love it. So I jumped in on a fun opportunity the first night of class and stayed to be a player in their show Dynamo; a game where you gain points over the time of the show, and slowly people get nicely removed, and the last with most points is the Dynamo! I made it to the penultimate round! It was all super fun and everyone was helpful and nice. Here's a photo (I'm number 2!) from my friend Nick Lewis who just happened to be there.
I sure hope to have more improv in my life!

Housesitting at Carolyn and Libbys

This winter I housesat for my wonderful friend Carolyn. Her husband build the house, and during the snowstorm the power went out and I almost burnt down the place with my iron. Holy sheesh!
My main duties were to not hurt the cast-iron pans, and to feed and water the chickens, known as "The Ladies".
This was me, excited for so much snow, and before I almost burnt their house down.
After hearing the news of me almost burning her daughters home down, Carolyn's mom invited me to watch her house and cat, Odin.
I was so happy to know that they both still trusted me. My reward, was having Odin to love on.
It's this part of house sitting that really makes it for me. I love animals, and this guy is a sweetheart.

Meals on Wheels 2014

This is the second annual Meals on Wheels event I have participated in. I sure have a grand time. This year it was with Jason Quick and Nate Wheeler. Jason and I performed a snipped from the Real Food Show, I sang my moustache song, Jason juggled and did the bed of eggs, and Nate did two musical pieces. Then, we ate dessert and chatted with the awesome attendees.
I look forward to doing it again next year!
