Amuse Cabaret

Wren and I auditioned for and then were invited to perform in the Amuse Cabaret, at the Conway Muse. Our friend Terril was there with two aerial acts, and Wren and I performed our cowboy rope act, and I did the Chair Dance.
They fed us as part of being in the show. One of the other performers, Beth, snapped this photo, along with giving me my best quote so far, "compulsively watchable". Solid Gold. Thanks Beth!
Wren obviously agrees.

Gallus Brother 10 Year Anniversary Party

Lucas invited me to open for the Gallus Brothers 10 year anniversary party... and to make the poster. Lucky, lucky me.
Here is my pile of costumes for the show!
A snap shot from the show, Sarah and I as the Gallus Gals, with a cameo appearance from Liam as a plummer, as we sing a tribute song to the Gallus Brothers.
I made special Gallus Brother Hankies to sell at the show.
The show was a hit, and I was so delighted to perform again with Sarah, and really come full circle on my performance life, sharing a pile of my acts at the same place, for the same fellas, with the same gal that got this whole performance part of my life started. What a wonderful night.

Ball and Bones 2015

Our third year at Ball and Bones. It's a "festival" on an art-filled property called "Bob Land". Wrens dad Robin lives there most of the year when he's not traveling to Mexico or other warmer places. This is a mural of Bob, where during a particular time during the party, you could talk to Bob (via a phone and speaker behind the large painting of him. Pretty awesomely hilarious.
During the festival, people perform a variety of interesting things, from different types of music, spoken art, poetry, shadow puppetry, puppet shows, etc. Wren and I performed our rope and juggling act, then Wren juggled to me reading a poem his dad wrote, and I did my Time Piece. There was yummy food and dessert (Wren filled his bowl three times!), cute kids, great music, and very enjoyable performances. It was all quite informal, and we all wore name tags that Robin made saying things like "My moniker is not ____", "You can call me anything but _____". It was a fun variation to the usual name-tags.
