Hickstravaganza!

I had the honor of co-organizing a benefit event for an extraordinary human...
Lucas Hicks.
My folks came, and my dad brought a bunch of his yummy homemade apple cider, brandy and moonshine. There was a bar, Kurly's fry cart, a silent auction, live music (Bar Tabac,
and The Gallus Brothers),
a square dance, and a circus show with Jason Quick juggling and bed of eggs, Dream and PJ on Silks,
I did the pig dance, and Wren and I did the rope act.
Dream on Lyra, and Casey as MC.
It was a fabulous night, and we raised just over $15,000 at our 3-hour event.
Here's a write-up about it.
Thanks to the numerous donors, volunteers, and attendees.
What a smashing success!

Inauguration Day Cabaret

The Inauguration Day Cabaret, designed to bring a variety of local performing artists together to begin an artistic political dialogue sure to continue for the next four years.
I performed my pig and hands of time. Chippy helped me as the cloud and my clock handler.
After the show I met Ibi, the United Nations Ambassador of the arts from Nigeria. He quoted a beautiful Nigerian about all how trees fall, but some fall right into place... saying he sees me doing what I was created to do. That was pretty cool.
Here's a link to the whole show.
