Atreu's Birthday Party

Wren and I were invited to perform for a kids 5-year birthday party. We had a great time, and everyone at the party was delighted with our show and getting to play with our circus props. My favorite thing is seeing Wren surrounded by a bunch of cutie little girls wanting him to teach them how to juggle. So cute!
This awesome guy determined to juggle.
This little champ learning how to hoop the hard way!
A snippet from our hat act.
 Kids watching the show.
Atreu getting set for his birthday circus moment, balancing a spinning plate while we juggle around him!
A sneek peek at our rope act.
 Shots from our juggling act.
Our finale!
It is always rewarding to see the adults watching and enjoying the show as well.
Happy Birthday Atreu! And thanks to the gal who took these photos, yay!

Cafe Bouzingo Birthday

I decided to spend my birthday at an open mic. Anew lounge called Cafe Bouzingo.
A few sweet friends heard and came along, and were great supporters while I performed my Piggy Fan Dance, (with help from the sneaky Wren cloud, not pictured here) I've been enjoying this act so much, that I don't ever remember performing a move like this one captured here... amazing!

Whisky River Show

Whisky's one woman show: The Cowgirl Gospel, and River's white elephant bingo birthday gift exchange... with GF chocolate birthday bingo card cake from his mom and girlfriend!
Whisky (aka Whitney Anne Fliss) is part of the Quarry's Artist in Residency program. It was quite an inspiration.

Collins Classy Birthday Party

Wren and I were lucky enough to attend "Collin's Keepin' it Classy birthday party" at his awesome house. Here's Collin in his Hefner-esque, classy attire.
He had karaoke downstairs, unlimited drink options, snackie-poos, coinless pinball machines, and a sweet photo booth. Here are some of the booth photos.

Birthday parties with photo booths are always so fun! Thanks Collin! We look forward to celebrating with you again next year!

Wren's Birthday 35!

We returned from a weekend of Jamboree and Stillaguamish Festival (complete with stop at Wren's favorite cheap-food casing, Angel of the Winds) to find this beautiful sign on his door!
It was the work of Cora and Margaret! They also made him his favorite type of cake, Carrot, complete with edible fire juggler on top!
We met up with fun folks to celebrate at Boundary Bay. Some (like Fallon) even came dressed like Wren! What fun!
Our waitress brought him a birthday pie! He shared with us, and savored the last drop.
Then we went to juggle club, and it was a good one, so many people! There were even more folks that came dressed like Wren!
It was a super fun day, Wren had a wonderful time, and we ended it by sleeping out at the cabin. One of my favorite parts was seeing these ADORABLE pictures of Wren that his mom set out. This one might be my ultimate favorite... so cute!
 Moustachioed pirate.
 Stilter.
It's obvious that he was destined for circus, and fun. Happy birthday Wren!!!

Rivers ClownHawk Birthday

This year, River had a ClownHawk bowling party for his birthday. I of course wore Rivers moustache (he gave me his real-fake moustache years ago and is borrowing it for this picture. I'm wearing licorice.), but the name also inspired me to don my favorite clown suite, and make a balloon mohawk to compliment the look.
 Chipps was there!
Melanie was there and she couldn't get enough of Rivers Moustache.
Who could blame her, really?
 More Moustache-love from Melanie!
Rivers Mom (Joan) couldn't get enough of Santa (Gabriel), even with the evil Krampus in the background (the Dirty Birds in disguise, who swept me away for a brief, random video shoot!)
As a good clown should, I brought a bunch of other balloons for just-in-case. They fit in perfectly at the bowling alley.
Joan's moustache cake: the hair is made from licorice! Brilliant!
Birthdays, friends, costumes, cake, Santa, bowling, moustaches... thanks River, what an awesome party!
