Sh'Bang 2018

Another year of Sh'Bang!
There are snippets from the Big Circus Show!
Poki filling a wine glass balanced on two other wine glasses, balanced on a stick in his mouth!
Poki balancing two swords on their tips!
Bri Crabtree!
Deanna Flesher as Butt Kapinski.
Sadye and me as the Hot Dogs!
The Mud Bay Jugglers!
The Cast!
A taste of the off-road Soap Box Derby!
 The human Pinata!
During the burlesque show, Poki cleared the table by sucking everything up with his "penis" vacuum. My friend Mylee also did a belly-dance twerking act that had me in stitches!
Wren and I performed our half hour circus variety show in the rain!
We were also part of the rainy Aquatic Circus, hosted by these two clams.
Sadye and I were part of the Aquatic Circus as hot dog narwhals. Here's me with my sweet friend Libby and her sweet pal! Moments after this, they saved me from my horn/tooth being caught in a tree!
The finale of the synchronized swimming act for that show included a multitude of swimmers, and one in the giant ball!
My dear friend Mylee performed this backwards mask dance (something we have done together as well!) with her pal from Chico, and various other dances while her brother accompanied her on guitar.
Random Cool Things... this place is called the Tripping Hazard.
Dad! And his visiting furry calico, Princess Gary! Dad has been coming to Sh'Bang for a bunch of years now, it's so great having him here for the whole weekend! He brings all the supplies to make pancakes, sausage, hamburgers and hot dogs to share! It's so great to have him there!

Sh'Bang 2017

This Sh'Bang was another lucky year that Dad was there! He brought homemade booze and fed us hot-cakes and sausage every morning. What a guy!
The Aquatic circus show... that's Sadye and me as the Blue Ballerinas.
Wren and I did our juggling act, we added spitting water, which Wren is surprisingly good at, to keep with the water theme.
Wren always helping me carry things.
Our friend Britt during Sh'Build.
The cast of "Who Killed Wannabe Joe".
I just found out the name of the show.
 And I'm Wannabe Joe.
I tried to hide and pretend to be a tree to get away. It didn't work. I was killed 12 times over two days and three shows.
The Big Circus Show. Wren performed his cigar box routine. This is the pre-finale, with Sadye as a hot dog. There were many great puns and religious references, all hilarious.

Circus Campout 2015

Circus Campout this weekend, run by these two charming people, Jules and Fallon (Sweet T's by Claudia Bernal)
There were workshops like acro-yoga (I taught my 50 Shades workshop there too!)!
There was helping out in the kitchen.
There was volley-club... this photo is of the first (The World) and last place (The Bloody Lips - aptly named) teams.
This is one of the reasons for the name...
Along with being a pretty wet and rainy weekend, it was the windiest weekend of the year. Tree branches were snapping and falling, leaves flew in floaty circles like birds, structure tie-downs were spontaneously tag-teamed, there was a energetic feeling of wild-ness, power in town was out here and there, and miraculously no one at campout got hurt. Here is a photo of an Anacortes boat (by Thaddeus Hink) that embodies the power of the weather from the weekend.
Circus Campout is one of my favorite festivals!
