Puerto Rico

And We´re off! Leaving the cold, windy city of Anacortes via public transit to Seattle. Then two nights in Puerto Rico, then our much awaited trans-Atlantic cruise!
A sleepless redeye from Seattle,
And then we are there! And its hot...like 90. And thats awesome. We walked a bit ate lunch rice n bean then bussed back to Miramar and checked into our hostel... The Palace Hostle.A quick nap and dinner at Papa Johns (where, somehow, Wren had never been!). We walked to the beach n on the was stopped at a lake and saw this iguana!
We also saw this hilarious sign at a park... tee hee!
Here was a fun fountain next to the gorgeous beach.
At the beach we made a splash and then a stinky sphinx foot castle.
Here is our favorite eatery, a place called Vagon. The owner, Victor, was super awesome and gave us these two drinks while we waited... then two more! And Since Wren doesn´t drink... well, someone had to!
These were our favorite gender-distinguishing bathroom signs.
We also ate frosties, saw Pelicans, read a bunch...
juggled,
and found geo-caches!... guess who found them?
At our hostle (number 666!) we met a nice fella named Greg who we bussed into town with the next day. All in all, this trip is starting out GREAT!

Circus Photo Shoot 2013

This year Wrens friend (and now mine too!) David Clumpner, offered to take photos of us for fun. Wren, a self-proclaimed loather of such things (thought one might question and/or be surprised by his ongoing selfies for his blog), and a super thoughtful fellow, suggested David take circus photos of me for my website! What a great idea, and fun afternoon it was!
Juggling is serious business.
Balls.
I was tickled by the whole process... and, obviously, this peacock feather.
We did manage to wrangle wren into a few shots... like these!
Thanks Dave Clumpner for your awesome skills, and Wren for gettin' me in on this.

Teatro ZinZanni

I recently had the privilege to perform in Teatro ZinZanni's late night show. "An evening of scintillating entertainment featuring an all-lady cast (Sarah SparrowLily Verlaine, Ben Delacreme (Drag Queen who had me laughing my mascara off!), Inga Ingenue, The Seattle Irish Dance Company, and Dos Fallopia - Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt, the outrageous comedy duo who produce an evening of wickedly funny commentary from a woman's point of view." I performed The Chair Dance. Here are a few fun pics.
The fun poster!
The act (photos by John Cornicello)!
Sarah Sparrow and I backstage!
The entire evening was a blast. The organizer Tim Gonzalez-Wiler and his crew were so lovely and wonderful. I sure hope to play there again!
