Housesitting for Heidi

 Housesitting for my friend Heidi means petting a bunny-soft tubby kitty, and snuggling with this adorable creature... Beagle!

 Oooh! She's just so cuuuute!

And she sleeps UNDER the covers with me! I love my job... I'm in heaven!

Housesittin' for the Folks

I spent the week in Port Townsend house-sitting for my folks while they were on an Alaskan cruise! Yay! The dates coincided with Joannie and Daniels wedding, which was quaint, charming, and delightful. Isabella was there, along with a handful of other beloved Chautauquins.

Katie and I got to decorate Joannies Poe steed!

I took the ferry over from the Sh'Bang with Chloe, Annie and Rod. One of my (not) guilty pleasures is I love doing the jigsaw puzzles on the ferry!!!

Here is one of the loathed (but so cute!) deer in dad's orchard.

I met up with Squeek and her dog Pam at the lake. They swam around a bit, and I paddled around in the new boat dad bought... it was a blast!

I made a bunch of things while I was there, like dried fruit, zucchini bread, and finished a costume, but my favorite was this 3-d welcome home card for mom and dad!

 I thought they turned out soooo cute!

It was so fun to hear about their adventures when they returned. I laughed so much. I love these people. I surely do.

House sitting for Bella

House sitting has perks like this. Bella. Outrageously cute, soft as a bunny, purr/growls when you pet her.

Awesome.

Housesitting at Carolyn and Libbys

This winter I housesat for my wonderful friend Carolyn. Her husband build the house, and during the snowstorm the power went out and I almost burnt down the place with my iron. Holy sheesh!

 My main duties were to not hurt the cast-iron pans, and to feed and water the chickens, known as "The Ladies".

 This was me, excited for so much snow, and before I almost burnt their house down.

After hearing the news of me almost burning her daughters home down, Carolyn's mom invited me to watch her house and cat, Odin.

 I was so happy to know that they both still trusted me. My reward, was having Odin to love on.

It's this part of house sitting that really makes it for me. I love animals, and this guy is a sweetheart.

New Year 2014

It's new year's eve. SuperWren and WonderDella are house (and cats) sitting. SuperWren was tired from another heroic day...

 But SuperCat had a super idea!
