Kayla and Rafferty's Wedding

I had the honor this summer, to marry two great friends of mine, Kayla and Rafferty.
Such a gorgeous and strong couple...
...nothing could come between them.
The brides maids were her sisters... what a bunch of bad-asses!
 The nosey groomsmen.
They had tattoos made with their new last name, Minotti, and their faces.
There was a dress rehearsal the day before.
And a talent show that night as well. There was a game-show, hooping, Magic Mike, music, and more. I invited the wedding party to perform the chair dance with me. They were naturals, naturally.
Their huge friend-posse they call the Brown Outs.
I couldn't be happier to see these two get married!
What an amazing celebration!!!

Nora's Colorado Wedding

Wren and I went to Colorado to participate in his friend Nora's wedding. It was awesome. They decided to start their day off by participating in a costumed bike ride on the Tour de Fat.
Here's too many pictures of the ride.
Here we are after the ride at the wedding.
And before the food...
On our way to the wedding (and back), we visited my friends Claire in Las Vegas (this is 5 in the morning),
and Jamie in Colorado, and Wren's friend Chris and his wife, and Wren's Aunt Rose in Colorado. While visiting Chris at his college, we saw this fun machine.
It was a full, fun, adventurous trip, and ended with Wren almost not getting on the last leg of our flight (stand-by can be like that). But we managed to miraculously both get on and get home.
The End.

Steven and Shannos Wedding

Steven Bent and Shannon O'(something), two talented Chautauquins, were married at Lake Crescent this year, at the Olympic Ford Institute near Forks Washington. Here's Wren and me all gussied up for the occasion.
Here's me, Stevador, and Katie at the wedding.
There were juggling casualties (not really, just silly business).
There was a sweet photo booth. This photo includes members of the Celebration Barn alums (Rod, Robyn, Andy, Me)
Steven and Shano paraded into their ceremony.
The traditional fire juggling around them.
The group photo.
It was a super fun time! Congrats to the new O'Bents!

Lebn and Jessica's Wedding

This weekend Wren and I had the pleasure of attending a most beautiful event: our friends' (Lebn and Jessica) circus-themed wedding in Sisters Oregon. This photo is from their engagement... they unknowingly planned and asked each other on the same day!
The day of the show Schedule... I can't wait 'till 7:30!
Wren and I at the Ceremony...
Circus peeps at the Ceremony...
On Sunday after the ceremony many of us went on a rafting trip down the Deschutes River. There were about 6 big rafts and one kayak full of merrymakers.
Dream was part of the float...
Wren was on the float... happy Wren! He had just sprained his ankle real bad playing soccer with his 5-year old friend the day before the wedding weekend, so floating was an activity he could especially enjoy.
Miss America was on the float...
People did acro on the rafts...
The new bride and groom were on the float...
Even with his hurt foot, Wren and I had the most wonderful time.
This was one of the best weddings I've ever attended.
Thank you Lebn and Jessica, and congratulations!

New Old Time Chautauqua Tour

This year our tour is in the Northwest along the I-5 corridor... Seattle, Mt. Vernon, Concrete, Olympia, Camano Island and more-idore! Here's a jumble of the goings-on of the tour, like Wren and I after roving at Bellinghams Project Homeless event.
This is how our meals are served on Chautauqua... we're so lucky!
Our friends and long-time Chautauquins Harry Levine and Anne Gavzer got married on tour this year!
Part of the swag they handed out was clown noses for the guests!
I've been performing the Chair Dance for around 5 years now...
and this is my first injury from it... a pulled calf muscle. It's pretty hilarious to me, as the routine is extremely un-athletic. It's crutches for me for a while now... maybe an act will transpire...
Anyhoo, so far the tour has been super fun... I'll have more posts with photos from shows, etc. soon!
