Twas the night before Christmas 2017

Wren and I are spending Christmas in Jamaica!
Here's a lil' holiday poem in celebration!

Twas the night before Christmas
and i feel like a grouch
the internet stinks
it only works from the couch

The owners are great
at our air b and b house
but the dogs are too chatty
and there's too cheeky a mouse

This morning we dined
on fresh fruit from the land
mango starfruit smoothies
tropics in the palm of my hand

We juggled for our hosts
and gave their dogs a snuggle
then ate some top ramen
and finished a crossword puzzle

Then off to adventure
an inexpensive one to boot
we swam and touched a waterfall
and the locals there were a hoot

A jaunt to Ocho Rios
in a van packed to the gills
an ex-race-car-driver i imagine
is careening us through winedy hills

We take just a peek in Margaritaville
but it was fast food we finally downed
then continued our favoirte pasttime
of finding local coins on the ground

Home again for our last night
after our warm dark evening stroll
tomorrow we're off to a new town
Negril is our destined goal

But for now we'll snuggle in and listen
to the crickets and distant raggae beats
while counting our Christmas blessings
and dreaming of Jamaican Jerk meats.

So here's to a joyful holiday
full of love, celebration, and cheer
All the best from us, Wren and Della
And a happy 2018 new year.

Sh'Bang 2017

This Sh'Bang was another lucky year that Dad was there! He brought homemade booze and fed us hot-cakes and sausage every morning. What a guy!
The Aquatic circus show... that's Sadye and me as the Blue Ballerinas.
Wren and I did our juggling act, we added spitting water, which Wren is surprisingly good at, to keep with the water theme.
Wren always helping me carry things.
Our friend Britt during Sh'Build.
The cast of "Who Killed Wannabe Joe".
I just found out the name of the show.
 And I'm Wannabe Joe.
I tried to hide and pretend to be a tree to get away. It didn't work. I was killed 12 times over two days and three shows.
The Big Circus Show. Wren performed his cigar box routine. This is the pre-finale, with Sadye as a hot dog. There were many great puns and religious references, all hilarious.

Jule's birthday surprise

Jule's Surprise Birthday party! Jule's wife Katy planned for months, getting tons of Jule's friends on board for the big surprise.
Wren and I drove to Spokane with Robyn the day before the party to help out. Like Wren building a fire-pit for the party.
I made these buttons for the event.
There was cake...
And an entire pig!
We also juggled while Robyn (Jule and Wren's dad) played accordion.
There were literally truckloads of kids.
Katy did a spectacular job of keeping it all a surprise. And what a grand surprise it was. And all at their amazing cabin in Spokane.
Unclear in this otherwise amazing photo, is an awesome coozie made by Katie for the celebration as well. Cheers to birthdays, surprises, and gorgeous lake cabins in the woods.

Mom and Dad's 44th Anniversary

This year mom and dad decided to celebrate their 44th Anniversary by staying at the Lummi (Dad's an official "card-holder" now) casino hotel, and coming to Vaudevillingham.
Sadye and I sang her hot dog song, with a few added lines to help celebrate their 44 year anniversary.
This was their reaction, captured by the talented Thaddeus Hink.
Priceless. I love these two!

Moisture Festival 7th Annual

My 7th annual performance of the Chair Dance at Moisture Festival
This year, I shared a stage with...
Jason Victor Serinus who gave me this quotable "compliment" to go with my collection: "You are the funniest female I have ever met, second only to my dog."
Tempo Turn
Naked Truth
-The Nights Band
Ron W. Bailey& Caela Bailey
I love this festival. I sure hope they have me again for my 8th annual time. =)

My Circus Valentine 2017

This year, Wren and I created a ball juggling routine set to music and rhyming lyrics we wrote about love. It included me in tear-away pajamas, and Wren doing solo amazing ball juggling, ending with us ball juggling together.
I performed my Hands of Time act, having adjusted it to fit the theme of Love.
This amazingly talented and hilarious guy was in our show...Ezra.

Mom and dad were there, but we never mad it into the photobooth together, but Wren's mom did with her lady-posse!
The aerialist ladies also made it in...
The beginning our Sadye's and my love of being Hot Dogs is captured here.
Anneka and Dream and I were lucky enough to get a photo with Lucas Hicks and his wonderful mom, Glenna.
Somehow, the entire cast made it into the photobooth!
(Laura, Jules, Terril, Jess, Daniel, Sam, Dream, Jill, Esther, me, Wren, Sadye, Anneka, PJ, Don, Chipp, Heidi, Lara)
Thanks to Jeff Lefferts and Lindsey for making the photobooth happen every year. We love it!
